Marc Trottier

Marc Trottier is a founding partner of Coerente Capital Management, and is both a Portfolio Manager and Chief Compliance Officer. He has over 35 years of industry experience. Previously, he spent 26 years with Jarislowsky Fraser Limited where he was Vice President, Director and member of the Executive Committee. Prior to that he worked with SEI Financial Services.

At Coerente Capital Management, Marc is responsible for client service and portfolio management of the firm’s private wealth and Foundation clients.

He holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and earned his honours Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University.

Current community involvement includes: Past Chair of St. Mary’s Hospital Center Board, the Investment Committee of McGill University Endowment, as well as the Board of Directors of The Portfolio Managers Association of Canada (PMAC).
